ATS announces new managing Sales director Wendy Bateman

Airport Terminal Services (ATS) is pleased to announce the addition of Wendy Bateman as Managing Sales Director. Bateman has an extensive background in sales, sales training and senior sales management. She will lead the sales growth strategy focusing primarily on expanding the ATS ground handling services portfolio. “Wendy’s strong business development background will truly be an asset to ATS and our customers,” said Ingrid Braeuninger, ATS Vice President of Sales and Business Development.

She offers a fresh perspective coming from outside the aviation industry. I look forward to her implementing new process and concepts that will continue to invigorate our team and differentiate ATS in the ground handling market place.” As Managing Sales Director, Bateman will lead the ATS sales organization as well as be directly responsible for selected customer accounts and Airports.

She will have an integral role in the strategic development for the core business. Prior to joining ATS, Bateman began her career in the health services and property management industries. For the past 7 years she has worked in the waste and recycling industry for two different companies, the last one being International Environmental Management . This company was a niche, privately held company purchased by Waste Management, Inc. with over $150M in annual revenues. Her vast sales and operations experience includes managing a team of 40+ individuals, developing strategy, strengthening client relationships and driving future growth.

Bateman earned her Bachelor of Science from University of Phoenix and her Masters of Business Administration from Maryville University. Bateman lives in St. Louis with her husband and will be based out of ATS’ Headquarter building.
